Overall Job Summary\nThe Delivery Specialist is responsible for delivering purchased merchandise to customers within the assigned market while meeting delivery and quality standards. The Delivery Specialist will deliver Legendary Customer Experience through building trusted relationships, offering seasoned advice, ensuring safe delivery of the product, resolving problems and handling product retur\n...\nns as required.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)\n\u2022 Maintain regular and predictable attendance.\n\u2022 Ensure timely deliveries, meeting or exceeding scheduled delivery times.\n\u2022 Operate and maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle and delivery equipment including a trailer at times.\n\u2022 Load, unload, and organize products in a safe and efficient manner.\n\u2022 Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safety and readiness of the delivery vehicle.\n\u2022 Maintain an accurate record of deliveries and any issues that may arise.\n\u2022 Communicate with customers as necessary, providing updates or addressing any concerns during the delivery process.\n\u2022 Provide exceptional customer service, creating a positive and friendly experience for all customers.\n\u2022 Partner with field sales team and store personnel to satisfy needs of our customers.\n\u2022 Handle all products with care to avoid damage and ensure safe transport.\n\u2022 Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe driving practices.\n\u2022 Handle returns, exchanges, or customer inquiries as needed.\nRequired Qualifications\nExperience: Previous truck delivery experience is a plus but not required. Experience with hand truck, dolly, pallet jack and forklift preferred.
